| I know some of you guys don't care much for the "oh look at what I got" posts, but I am just too excited! I just received the last of the parts I needed to change my clutch out, and I am going to be using the write-up from here. I've never done this myself, but looking forward to the self-satisfaction/knowledge I am going to get. Plus the money I will save from labor costs. Are there any tips/tricks that might come in handy? Or common mistakes I should keep in mind? I've read over the write-up and it seems pretty straight forward. Here are the parts that I am going to be installing while the tranny is out. - Southbend Stage 4 OFE Clutch - Throwout Bearing - Throwout Bearing Sleeve Spring - Withdrawal Lever Fork Spring - Pilot Bushing - Chromoly Pivot Ball - Stainless Steel Clutch Line - Rear Main Seal - Rear Trans Seal - Nismo Trans Mount - Solid Shifter Bushings (Thanks Coz ^^^) - ES Steering Rack Bushings (Thanks Bernie^^^) - Autometer C2 Air/Fuel Ratio (a.k.a. the light show) ...and last, but CERTAINLY not least... - Specialty Z 3" Downpipes - Specialty Z 3" - 2.5" Testpipes (Thanks Salah ^^^ a.k.a. Zster (Big Red) ) BTW.... PB Blaster, Breaker Bar, and Impact wrench sockets FTW!! Exhaust bolts were no match....except for the damned rear oxygen sensors. I think I am going to have to just cut the wires. Unless someone has a better idea. Also, if I do end up cutting the wires, is there anyway to trick the ECU without having to buy all new rear sensors that aren't even going back into the midpipes??? "The Goods"
